In maths we are working on multiplication and division. We will be looking at written methods and we are really working hard to learn all our times tables!

In English this half term we will be basing our work around a few different genres and linking it to our curriculum topic. We will be looking at the writing travel guides for Paris as well as writing sets of instructions for some of the food we are making.

Important dates to remember:

PE is Monday and Thursday. (no coaches this half term) Please ensure your child has their PE kit on those days  (black shorts and white t-shirt).

Spellings and homework will be given out on Friday for the following Friday. Children should be practising these every night if you or they are unsure of anything please contact me via class dojo.

Homework grids are sent out at the beginning of the term. If you need another one open the link below or just ask.

At Abingdon Primary we use Class Dojos which is embedded within every year group. This provides the children with an opportunity to earn points based on skills and values created in school and also links in with the schools core values of resilience, respect and responsibility. We use Class Dojos to engage parents by sharing photos and videos of exciting moments in the classroom.  Please sign up to class dojo if you haven’t yet as it is a really effective way for teachers and parents to communicate.
