On behalf of all our children, staff and governors, I would like to welcome you to Abingdon Primary School…
At Abingdon Primary, our whole team are committed to your child’s learning journey, ensuring it is happy and successful.
We recognise the importance of working together in partnership to enable our children to flourish as well-rounded individuals. We have high aspirations for our children: as they grow within our ‘Abingdon Family’, we expect our children to uphold high standards of behaviour and attitudes to learning and embrace challenges readily. Most importantly, we want them to feel valued, supported and encouraged through a stimulating learning environment, whilst having lots of fun!
We have recently updated our Code of Conduct, which explains how we do things at Abingdon.
We believe that positive relationships are the bedrock of a successful learning environment for our children, who must feel happy, safe and secure to truly achieve their potential, both academically and socially. Around school, we enjoy those positive relationships and we very much look forward to working in partnership with you as parents as well.
Please take time to look through our website, including the Twitter posts, to see the broad range of exciting opportunities we use to challenge our learners. I believe it is essential to look round a school to gain a feel for it, therefore I welcome any opportunity to invite you into school to share our fantastic learning.
Any parents who are choosing a school for their child to start in September 2020 need to have their application in by January 2020, therefore we are currently holding open days for any prospective parents.
Autumn open days for prospective parents are:
Friday 20th September 10:00am
Thursday 26th September 9:30am
Friday 4th October 10:00am
For any appointments to visit the school, please contact the school office on 0161 480 4531 or email email@example.com / firstname.lastname@example.org
We look forward to meeting you.
Mrs Sheena Clark
