Year 6 'Lockdown' Poetry

Date: 18th Sep 2020 @ 4:31pm

Since coming back to school, we have been thinking about the positive and negative effects 'lockdown' has had on us and our families.

We have also been reading the book 'Here We Are' by Oliver Jeffers, which highlights how amazing our planet is, and how unique and special we all are.

We have found that, even though the Coronavirus pandemic has devasted many familes across the world, we have dicsovered many things to be thankful for, such as our NHS and keyworker heroes! We have also talked about how we are very lucky to be all back together with our friends at Abingdon!

We have written some poetry to express our thoughts and feelings towards this.
