Remote Learning

During the current school closures the majority of the children will be remote learning. We have updated our remote learning further to reach out to more families and provide more learning opportunities.

We are using Seesaw to set activites each day. The activities can be done on paper and won't require constant use of Seesaw - you will just need to log in to see what the activity is. However, if your child likes using the features on there to do work then they can of course continue to do so!

Teachers are doing daily check ins with their class via zoom. The codes are shared with parents so they can access the meeting and security settings are put in place during every session.

Teachers are providing teaching sessions each day that are prerecorded with teaching points and explanations. Some classes are doing live sessions if and when appropriate.

Our teaching assistants are supporting the class through interventions via zoom with some children, as well as, supporting the teacher with the feedback on Seesaw.

The DfE has specified the number of hours children should be remote learning each day, therefore we are providing work that will fulfill that requirement. KS1 = 3hours  KS2 = 4hours

Class Dojo app offers parents window into child's behavior - CSMonitor.com

We continue to use Class Dojo to communicate with families. The teachers will use class dojo to get in touch with you and to send out any zoom codes. You can also message your class teacher with any questions during the school day. We also use it to send out whole school messages.

If you have any technical issues using the Apps please contact your class teacher. We will also be holding Zoom sessions to support parents with any technical problems! The codes for these will be sent on Class Dojo.
